Phase Critical

A personal research instrument for forecasting in chaotic systems.

What this is

Phase Critical is a private, self-hosted research tool used by a single operator to track market signals, build forecast bands from historical price data, and synthesize watchlists of interesting tickers. It runs on a small personal server.

It is not a public service. It does not accept registrations. It does not collect, store, or process any data belonging to visitors. There is exactly one user account, used by the system's owner.

How it works, briefly

The system estimates the predictability horizon of each time series it tracks using the dominant Lyapunov exponent (the math that gives the project its name and its φ mark), then bounds forecast confidence by that horizon. Past the horizon, it reports uncertainty rather than projecting a confident line into a future it can't see.

If you arrived here by mistake

Nothing on this site is intended for general public use. There is no product to evaluate, nothing to purchase, no service to sign up for. The site exists only as the operator's working interface to their own research data.

The login link below is for the operator only. If you are not the operator, please close this tab — you will not be able to sign in, and no information about you will be collected by the site.

Not financial advice

This is a personal research tool. The forecasts and scores it produces are uncertainty estimates derived from historical data, used by the operator for their own decisions. Nothing on this site constitutes investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security. The operator does not manage anyone else's money and does not solicit clients.
